Common sense: the purchase of safety isolation transformers

Consumers should pay attention to:

(1) Look at the appearance. Transformers with good quality generally look clean and pollution-free, the metal materials are not warped, the insulating tape is neatly wound, the leads (or pins) are well fixed, the labels are well printed and adhered neatly.

(2) Look at the logo and packaging. The identification of the transformer should include the trademark, model and rated electrical parameters, or it will be accompanied by a manual containing complete electrical parameters and clear wiring instructions.

(3) See the parts list. In addition to good workmanship, good quality transformers are inseparable from good materials. Whether it is windings, insulating tapes, skeletons, iron cores and leads (or pins), they are all very important. Insulating paint is often used in transformer production, which has a good effect on moisture resistance, heat dissipation, insulation and fixed windings of transformers. Some enterprises may not use insulating paint or use poor-quality insulating paint, which will affect the performance and safety of the transformer, and may even release toxic substances.

(4) Look at the certification certificate and test report. Transformer products belong to CQC voluntary certification, if the transformer has a certification certificate, it can be checked online through the CQC website. Compared with products without certification, transformers that have obtained certification are more trustworthy.
